alright, so here's the problem...i don't know whether i should study pre-med at binghamton or if i should join a seven yr acclerated medical program wit caldwell college in NJ. The only problem with this program is that i would eventuallly have to go to st. george's university in grenada....and this is the first yr the program is being offered....so wat should i do

plus...for all those ppl who don't noe, which is every1, haha....caldwell isn't exactly the best college in the world...

any advice/opinions are appreciated

thanks

If you do well at SUNY Binghamton, you can apply to U.S. medical schools and you also have a good shot at the many SUNY medical schools. Going to the 7-year accelerated program has advantages and disadvantages, but more of the latter. Going to a foreign, or in this case, a Caribbean school is looked down upon by many in the medical community. Among the Caribbean schools, however, St. George's is one of the best - along with Ross and Saba. The only benefit to going to the 7-year program is that you would be guaranteed a spot in medical school. I personally would study at Binghamton and apply to U.S. medical schools. Foreign schools like St. George's are considered back up options for U.S. medical school rejects.
