Diivio, can we start a new religion? With what you just said, I mean.

I don’t want to create a new religion because when we die, then some power crazy crackpot will say that he’s carrying out our principles but totally distort it and the credibility of our faith will be destroyed lol.

By the way, Sox, the Giants are playing you in interleague next year, so if you get into Stanford you can take Caltrain up to SF and watch the Sox lose all three games. :)

[the above is brought to you by an extreme stage of denial only a Giants fan could know]

^lol (I shouldn’t have to put a 10 char for short posts. Darn those programmers)

hahaha so now we know what “sfg” stands for huh? lol
I’m a missourian. Go Cards!

Sci-Fry, if we both get into Stanford, please bring me delicious, delicious Italian food.

You got it, wantatang. :)

Wait so if Prussia takes a gap year we won’t see her the first year we get in? :(. But I guess we’ll meet during admit weekend so it won’t be too bad.

5:22:00 left

so nervous…

Haha, well, don’t count your chickens before they hatch and all that; but, yeah, if that’s how things work out on both ends, I wouldn’t be attending the first year. Neither acceptance (of course) or gap-yearage are 100% certain, though.
Besides, I’m not that great, haha. I doubt you’d miss me.

lol so modest. Nah one of my incentives for getting in is to have the privilege of meeting all of you. You seem like cool people (except Nitro).

PS: Just Kidding. Nitro’s one of my best friends in real life!

I applied to stanford REA and I saw the official bulletin on the admissions website that says they will email out decisions on tuesday dec 15, but everyone keeps saying it comes out on friday. I also know that for the past 3 years, the REA decision has come out on the 2nd friday of december…
Do you guys know when it will actually come I don’t want to be caught off guard :O

we’re thinking that it’s most likely going to be tuesday because on the 2nd they actually posted on the stanford website saying that decisions come out on the 15th. They haven’t done that before so it’s probably coming next tuesday.

Am I the only Deist here?

Okay 2 things to contribute to this thread:

Welcome, Sox123. You are officially awesome for liking the best baseball team known to man. :)

I officially am the end all of the discussion on awesome Stanford clothing. I own a STANFORD SWEATER VEST. That is all.

@ Wangatang

Pats are decent this year but def not the same team from 2007. I can’t beleive they lost to the dolphins (sorry Floridians)

@sfg
It must be horrible to be a sports fan in SF. 49ers used to be so good back in the day but now they are like a semi-pro team. Dont know much about the giants besides bonds…not much of a national league guy.

haha were talking about sports while there’s an intense discussion about religious values and the origins of the universe

Annnnd… That’s the Stanford 2014 SCEAers thread for you.

Sox: I feel you man. I can’t believe Miami but the Pats. Maybe Belichick should stop gambling on 4th Downs?

People in san fran could convert to chargers fans? lol

sg: sweater vest!!! i can barely contain my jealousy… do they still sell those???

Rolandic…deism, many of our founding fathers claimed to be of that faith. Can you explain more about it to me?
