Stanford 2014 SCEAers

Haha okay, I’ll correct that. Can’t believe no one caught that on last year’s thread, haha.

I think that would be convenient, but I think having to fill out something so long might turn people off from pledging. I think the concise version is fine for that one.

That form is really long and I’d feel pretty down filling it out on rejection…I mean decision day.

people still attempted my formula thing and its a giant as far as what you have to fill out

i agree, concise is important, but i wouldnt worry about adding like 1 or 2 more fields

That’s exactly why I doubted it, Diivio. I guess they might just ignore the science section altogether. It’s kind of a dumb one, anyway. :P

nobody cares about science i think

wow, 200 posts today and counting

^ I agree that the science section is kind dumb but I got a good score on it so I hope they don’t!

yeah so its all good really

qui vivra verra!

so did anybody fill out the css profile for financial aid?

its getting to be like the “Waiting for ACT scores” in the final minutes before Iowa midnight.

yet we have 13+ days to go

I actually copied it straight off Yale’s pledge thread, haha. Looking back I would have added a rank and GPA field, but I think it’s a bit late to add those in now.

and i filled out the CSS form

(by me i mean my parents :P)

The science section is just the reading section disguised. Which is obnoxious.
I really wish Yale could see our posts/day.

Shoot if I didn’t fill out the CSS thing, does that mean I get no financial aid AT ALL!?!?

Oh, and yeah, I filled out the CSS form too. I’m afraid I messed it up, like leaving out a 0 or something.

Onward to 300 Posts/DAY!!!

TO Prussia: So I googled your 69 thing that I didn’t know and I kinda regret it…that is immature, How many people actually know that though? Is it ghetto slang or something?

You can submit the CSS profile late. The Nov 15 deadline is just a “priority” deadline, and they’ll work with you to try and get you the financial aid you need. But seriously, hurry up! You don’t want to put that off, it is risky.

I’ve got the main profile thing submitted by the due date, but my dad still hasn’t filled out the non-custodial parent forms, auughh.

Wow we will beat yale! Yale is like that Russian guy from Rocky, he can’t beat our American pride and power!

Um… I always thought 69 was something of a universal term. It definitely is NOT ghetto slang, at least. :P

Question: Do they organize applications by school?

i wouldnt think that they would because alot of schools would only have 1 applicant so comparison might be tough…
