My Junior year is about to end, and I have really been psyching myself up to go to Stanford. This is definitely my reach school, but I really want to go. What sort of things should I be doing during Senior summer to better prepare myself to have a better chance at applying to Stanford?

It depends on what kind of credentials you already have.

Right now, I’m planning on interning at a science research lab for the summer, and I’ve been playing the piano for the past ten years as well as a ton of volunteer work and a few school activities. But I know Stanford is a super selective school. How can I stand out to get accepted?

All these are fine and most students have that too, but you still cannot get it if you are not academically sounded unless you are a superstar in sports.
