Aerobug idk its some sort of glitch from yesterdays overload. see how all the page numbers are listed out at the bottom?

Illimani emails start going out at 3 PM stanford time (and the US is in daylight savings time so I think it’s PDT). Also, Yale released decisions yesterday so you could check that.

alright now i’m signing off. see you guys at 2:30ish!

@Aerobug, I applied to a lot of combined programs and a few other schools I really wanted to attend (around 25) and was rejected to every combined program and a few others (Duke, Penn, Brown, Rice, Vandy, JHU). Emory was my back up and I didn’t really think I would attend.

The competition this year has become incredibly difficult.

Accepted: UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, San Diego State, San Jose State, CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach
Denied: Yale, Columbia, Cornell, U Chicago
Waiting to hear from: Stanford

Right now, Berkeley is my top choice, UCLA is second, and USC is third. I don’t have high hopes for Stanford, but I love Berkeley so much, so all is well! Good luck to everyone!

I know, sanguinee. I do feel for you. I know what it’s like to be rejected from all your top choices.
Hopefully you’ll get into Stanford and it’ll be the end of it. If not, Emory is still a magnificent school. It was my top choice at one point, but due to personal reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with the school, I didn’t end up applying.

ClassClown2017, I’m so happy to hear that you’ll love where you go regardless. :)

Thanks, Aerobug! I will- Berkeley has been my top choice since sophomore year, and schools like Stanford and Yale were always just dreams for me, that I applied to to see if maybe I’d get in. I’m going to be an English major, and Berkeley has basically the best English program in the country, so I’m very happy! And I’m sure that you’ll have a great college experience wherever you end up, Aerobug! :)

Jeez, this is the only thing I can think of right now. I don’t care if I get in or not at this point (of course, I’m exaggerating, I want to get in), I JUST WANT TO KNOW.

Does Stanford holistically review applicants? Or are they more stats based? I’m an urm (hispanic) with a 2010 sat…and I’m not sure if my sat is high enough.
