Stanford Class of 2017 RD Discussion

Oh, it’s 1 PM right now in the West Coast. I was thinking about EST.

Stanford is the last college decision I have left. So basically, after 3 PM PST, I will know where I am headed in the Fall.

So either way it’s Good Friday for me! :)

@Aerobug that’s good. I hope you get in.

ugh i couldn’t focus on anything else. seriously regretting doing the stanford essays so fast right now… just. need. my. freaking. decision. omg.

Applied to 9 schools - have been rejected by 4, waitlisted by 1 , 3 left. God help me for stanford O:)

You all have my blessings, as worthless as they may be. :)

*Accepted to 1

More people should be partying on this thread right now. Less than 2 hours left.

Ahhhh the stress is killing me! I’m gonna be honest, if I get rejected, I will probably burst into tears :frowning: Stanford’s been my #1 for 4 years. Please oh please Stanford!!! :D

Is there already a known link we should check at 3 PST, or will they just email us something?

They will email us the decision :)

That question was already asked 4 times in the last couple of days in this thread… Lol

Will Stanford’s decisions trickle out like Harvard’s, or will they all arrive at 3?

Just got an email from NYU - got accepted into Stern! Nice way to build up for stanford

Will the Stanford emails be delayed like Harvard’s? Or will it come right at 3?

Oh, sorry, @angelsndemons already asked. I guess we posted at the same time

they will probably be delayed as well. its basically impossible to send that many emails at exactly the same time

I wish you all the best of luck! I believe REA came in a single burst - I got mine right at 6:00 on the button, and so did everybody I’ve asked (which admittedly, isn’t a huge sample size). However, they have more emails to deal with RD so they may hit technical delays.

Do rejections come out first? Or in no particular order?

That makes sense. Although Harvard took more than an hour for me (and multiple hours for many people), so I’m hoping Stanford is just a tad quicker!
