***Stanford Class of 2019 Applicant Discussion***

@StanfordOneDay‌ when did you submit your app? I submitted October 14 and still haven’t heard back

I submitted my application yesterday haha.

A++ to you guys for being so pro-active (;

No interviewers in my region, either. From New Jersey.

Best of luck to everyone who has or will be submitting (only a little over 24 hours left!) early applications this year! From the applications I have read so far, I can tell you all are a highly qualified group of students that are all good candidates for Stanford.

Submitting my application tomorrow. Tomorrow’s a busy day for me.

Hmm should I call then? I know that they do have interviews in my region

@heldenleben‌, some interviewers may be waiting until after the deadline to contact all of their applicants, so consider waiting a day or two.

@siemenscomp how have you read applications? are you an alum

Just submitted.

@StanfordOneDay‌: Yes, a number of prospective students in this forum asked that I look over their applications. That being said, if anyone still waiting to submit would like an opinion on his/her application, do not hesitate to message me.

Okay I’ve hit submit! Now for the wait.

Also, to catch up on the previous conversation, I’m from Texas.

Hoping that a high school in the suburbs of Chicago counts as a high school in Chicago. :expressionless:

I wonder how much interviews help anyways. I got kinda lucky because where I am from there are no interviews, but I go to a boarding school in an interviewing area.

Submitted! Now for the nerve-wracking wait.

just a month and a half!!

Did anyone else start shaking and did your palms start to get a little moisture before you clicked submit? That was intense and we haven’t gotten to decision day yet!

@emenya‌ I couldn’t get my hand to press the mouse. My dad had to press my hand down on the submit button. Finally.

I hope I get in. Acceptances from India are very very rare( about 10 in a year or so). PEOPLE WISH ME LUCK :P

Did anyone else choose material science, physics and Linguistics as their academic interests?
