I feel - I won’t let it get in the way of school and activities, but I’m anxiously awaiting next Friday as well!

Can someone help me find out how many people get accepted after being deffered REA ? I couldn’t seem to find any data online!
@Rrrffffff Yes, but results have come out a week early every year, so we can expect next Friday, the 9th
I think last year about 15% of deferred applicants were admitted RD
@JacobsCreek I remember reading somewhere that about 15% of deferred applicants get accepted.
One of the Stanford adcoms tweeted on Nov 15th that he has been reading apps for the last few days, I hope they are on track to release Friday next week.
So much anxiety in here. We should find a way to bring some positivity in here.
@Rrrffffff It says “by December 15,” unlike others, that simply say “December 15.” There’s a good chance they could come earlier.
Over the last several years, Stanford has released REA and regular decisions on the Friday afternoon before the “decision by” date. The release time has consistently been at 3:00 Pacific time.
We were told that they do it this way because almost everyone is done with school for the day and releasing on a Friday lets applicants have the weekend to come to terms with the outcome without being in school. Social media tends to make the results public pretty quickly, but you can keep it private if you want to.

if results came out on the 15th (on a thursday this month) i wouldn’t feel the motivation to go to school the next day
@callmegray Unless you get accepted, then ego fulfillment would be a great reason to go to school!!

Applied Dec 1 for the arts portfolio RD deadline. Sent my scores 11/20 and the portal still says it’s “Awaiting” SAT with Essay or ACT with Writing. Is that a problem?
@CollageWhat - check CB and ACT account and see if it says “Fulfilled” and "Processed respectively. If yes, and if several days have passed, contact admissions office. In my case, ACT has been sending out scores within a day or two. SAT has been taking weeks.
I sent my admissions counselor updates 4 days ago and I sent him another email addressing them again but no response. Should I be worried? Lol it’s probably an automatic rejection
How is anyone getting work done? My term paper is due Monday and I haven’t started =D> 6 more days…
@December9th2016 love the username and same! I have an Econ test on tuesday and an extended essay to write and all I can think about are the REA results
