@Oscardinho @vasodys I’m not really into game dev but go CS!
The admit website is a trap!
@alr33zy yeah I’m not sure if game dev is for me after all but CS all the way!
I have email alerts set up whenever someone posts (it’s not creepy OK?) and my inbox is just an endless stream of someone posted emails
does anyone watch cathincollege lol
I do!
Me too she’s awesome!
@vasodys maybe we could collaborate, man.
@alr33zy let’s go CS!!! Game Dev is not my major, but it is a good place for me to practice programming.
yess her story about interviewing celebrities is so cool
@Oscardinho hope we get a chance to do that
@vasodys @Oscardinho What do you guys program in? Personally, I love Java but occasionally dip into C++, js, Pyth.
If you guys are into advanced and abstract math problems as well, go check out Project Euler - it’s an archive with tons of awesome programmable problems.
@alr33zy I’ve mistly used Unity 3D for game dev so mostly JS and C#
@vasodys Unity3D is the best!!! Unreal Engine is good but my laptop cannot handle it.
@alr33zy thank you for the suggestion. I mainly use C# because Java, for me, is overly complicated. I know Swift and Python as well but not as adept as C#.
What platform do you guys develop for?
@vasodys Windows and Mac, mostly.
@vasodys You mean platform or environment? Mac for the former, but eclipse is my fav IDE!
LOL I’m a bit late to the programming convo but I’m into a lot of different stuff, esp hackathon hacking/organizing. Anyone here use python/flask?
Also is anyone into competitive programming, like USACO?
@njg00n I know python, but I don’t use it often. I’m not a big fan of competition, haha.
i watch cathincollege too!
