Stanford Class of 2022 Discussion/Decisions

Just Google it. You’ll find it.

If you look at Stanford Admissions website in 2006, where December 15th is the third Friday, they did release on the third Friday, December 15th. Idk about this year

2 weeks… Not a long time from now

It’s hard to predict. Normally, most cycles seem to have 6 full weeks before they release decisions, but last year they did it with 5 full weeks and 4 weekdays. This year we have 5 full weeks and 3 weekdays, so we will see if they are ready earlier or want another week.

They also announce date and time two or so days beforehand on the admissions Twitter account

Does anyone have experience with updating one’s application after applying? I sent an email listing two honors that I have recently received to Stanford’s credentials email. I called to confirm that I had sent an email. The man said Stanford doesn’t reply back but I can be assured that they received it. Still kind of unsure if it’s going to be considered during the admission’s process.

i did the same thing also, i think we shouldn’t worry either way. they most likely got it

Is it too late to send an update/what types of things really warrant an update? I recently attended an event and told my interviewer but I’m not sure he wrote it down or anything.

I’m currently a semifinalist for The Gates Scholarship. It isn’t too notable but I think it’s worth mentioning for admissions sake. Bluepear is right, we shouldn’t be worrying about this.

@itzperez Me too

So y’all think we’ll know by December 8th or December 15th?

@bluepear2000 I think it’ll be the 15th

Naaa…I say it will be the 8th.

Dec. 1st for me (QB). yeet

good luck!! :slight_smile: @mohammadmohd18

Kinda hoping it’s on the 8th to end the waiting game and also see if I need to apply to any more RD schools (especially schools like Pitt with a 12/15 Scholarship deadline)

They sadly don’t confirm receipt of financial aid requirements, either. Would be good to know everything got in, but whatever. The more important thing is getting in.

@tt8082 I applied to all the scholarship programs no matter the deadline. It’s worth paying a 50 dollar fee to have a chance at a full scholarship even if you do get into Stanford.

Would love to hear back by the 8th, let’s keep our fingers crossed everybody!

oh wow @mohammadmohd18!!! That is super exciting, good luck :slight_smile:

Does anyone know how the process works, i.e. when the actual decisions are made in committee? Just curious.

@2oxwom26ba The decisions are probably being made now. Questbridge is supposed to come out soon, so they should at least be doing those.
