Stanford Class of 2022 Discussion/Decisions

All the QuestBridge partner schools already sent QB the acceptances. This is so QB could spend this week, and maybe even some of last week, matching students to schools.

Do I have a fair chance on getting in?
Cumulative GPA: 4.26
Rank: 10/660 (Top 1%)
Volunteer hours: 300 (volunteered at my hospital for 2 years)
Essays: 9/10
Rec: Think they were excellent
ECA: Varsity track(4years), medical career club(4 years), key club(4years)

So I made a few mistakes on the app - not any spelling mistakes but like while switching over activities I kind of forgot to change the activity heading. So my quizzing is titled as Science/Math. I’m a bit worried. Is this gonna be a deal breaker and will come off across as a bit insincere for not checking it properly

@ram2621 No. It’s all right.

Good luck everyone, I just want the waiting game to be over

@antwaine It appears that you’re academically competitive, but in my opinion, it truly is up to if the admissions officer likes who you are a person or if you have shown passion/initiative in an area if you don’t have an amazing “hook” as CC likes to say. You’ve probably got a good a shot as anybody else, and that’s a 5% chance to be perfectly honest lol.

@Zion101 Thank you for your honesty.

Do we have an official page for decisions or are we using this forum to post?

This is my first post here but I’ve been following this thread for a while! Good luck to QB finalists today!
@izzielau I haven’t seen a decisions page yet

@izzielau I suppose someone will create the decision thread when people start getting decisions

Pretty sure this is the decision thread too! I feel like it’d be nice to kinda have everything in one place

^actually id like it separate. this is more of a commiseration thread.

yeah true makes sense, I agree!

Cause I was just thinking for like future applicants, it’s sort of fun/helpful to kind of be able to piece together people’s full story and to keep track of the users. But it also makes to have it separate of course, so we can do that once we start getting back decisions

From threads that I’ve followed in the past, I do think it’s nice to have decisions in the discussion thread to see how all the stories developed, but I do think it’s nice to have the more detailed decisions and information in a separate thread for easier viewing. So basically what I’m saying is I like both lol

I think it will be most beneficial to future CCers to post here simply your admission decision, but post all your info in the actual discussion page.

GL to all QBers.

Both it is!!

(And yes, good luck to QB today!)

was not matched through QB National College Match. better luck in february i suppose!

@mohammadmohd18 Don’t sweat it, you’ll do great in RD

Also, I created a separate thread for REA results. I modeled the layout off of previous years

Does anyone know how much of an impact verbal support from a coach to admissions will make on an application?
