BTW for anyone freaking out about the diversity email… and not geting one… dont freak out. 2 of my friends last year didnt get the diversity email and rn are attending stanford. Im p sure its for URM’s or if you are attending school in an under represented region. Good luck to everyone guys, yall should be rlly proud of how far we have come, just being able to apply to stanford and wait for all this is an achievement on its own. Whatever happens tommorow keep your chin up high and keep moving forward, not the end of the world if you don’t go to stanford. I hope I get in, and maybe see some of yall in the fall

Hahaha chill out guys. Stanford is the dream, but I’m sure all of us are going to end up at great universities regardless of tmrw’s decision

Some of my friends got the diversity email and they didn’t even apply REA so I wouldn’t worry about it.
I’m guessing the diversity email only applies for URM/First-Gen students right? I didn’t receive one either
My friend who got the email is asian and she’s not gonna apply to Stanford so it’s probably not even connected to REA applicants
Also, I know someone was asking about this: a couple of years ago REA acceptance was at around 8%, deferral was around 7% and the rest of the REA applicants got rejected. They’ll probably fill around 750 spots with this round
Hopefully a few of us will be included in that number
