@bzss7x I don’t think that’s true. There is no date change on my portal, and I did NOT send official scores to Stanford.
Well another theory disproven, I guess.
My dad works in software and I asked him about it and he said that it’s most likely just a glitch with the computer software
I had a change to my portal as well. My SATs, which I actually submitted official scores, were recently considered not delivered and stayed that way for a day or so. Eventually, I contacted the office of undergraduate admissions regarding the issue and was told that it was a glitch so rip.
If it’s a glitch, why is it happening periodically to only some applicants? Someone got the date change in late February, someone got the date change in early March, someone got the date change just a few days ago. . .
mine said 12/6 yesterday and just changed to 3/15 today! i really think it is the date they make a decision on you.
DS is a QB finalist (ranked Stanford, didn’t match). Test score date changed from 10/18 to 3/12/19, official test scores sent to Stanford in Oct 2018.
Initially thought test date changes were inconsequential, but now believe the decision date theory.
I sent official scores. Still says, and has always said, received 10/16/2018.
@romns116 same for my son - QB finalist, ranked Stanford, didn’t match. But his hasn’t changed. Maybe this is a good omen for your son?! Good luck!

He’s below median stats, but does have a distinct profile (EC and background). Hoping your QB child receives good news as well!
When will decisions be made?
@Nonomom They day that the decision will be released by April 1st. Last year it was March 30th!
@romns116 My son is QB as well his SAT date was 10/18/18 and its still the same. Good luck to your daughter! And Im glad my son already has a backup (UCI) so it won’t be a catastrophe if Stanford doesn’t come through for him. He’s got great stats, barely any Ecs, and very good essays.
Congrats on the UCI acceptance! My brother and his wife both graduated from UCI in the late 90s. Glad to hear your son already has a solid backup. My son’s already in at UT and UofM (both affordable thanks to merit), so he has good backups also.
