<p>Here is an overview of my stats:
lzhang's</a> College Application Tracker | My Chances.net - College admissions predictions.
The mychances.net doesn't exactly have good predictions, since there's a few factors that it can't consider.
-my ranking is messed up, taking calc 3 at a local college lowered my weighted gpa
-I'm going to improve my ACT hopefully by at least 2 points, so probably I'll get around 34+
-I'm applying for a patent and will send Stanford an abstract
-good recs from teacher and mentor
-I live in KY
-school is ranked #705 in the nation, I don't know if that's good or bad</p>

<p>If I have good essays, will I have a good chance? Or what it just be a luck of a draw for me to get in?</p>

<p>Returning the favor, man. I love the patent application. I the only other person I know of who did that was also in high school and went to Yale. Top 2 subject tests are really good. ACT is, I would say, pretty decent. I don't know if that's your best one, though. Living in KY is a plus, so I say you have better than average chances. As long as you showcase and "exploit" the patent.</p>
