Stanford EA or Regular?

Concerning Stanford

From what I know, Stanford admission puts a red tag over all the homeschooler applicants and put them in a separate box. So I'm guessing there will be a small box for EA and larger (but still small) box for Regular. For a student who seriously cracked on the AP's and SAT's (tangible evidence) , which is the BETTER box? =P

Homeschoolers out there, would you do EA or Regular and why?

If Stanford is your number one choice, apply SCEA. Stanford’s SCEA admittance is a little higher than its regular admission, so it’s worthwhile to apply early. I know some STEM kids apply EA to schools like MIT, Caltech, and U Chicago. My son applied SCEA to Princeton and was admitted. I think applying EA or SCEA is a good strategy.

What is SCEA?

EA= early admission?

Do homeschoolers have better chance or worth (assuming, that SAT and AP exams are the same)?

Single Choice EA. You are not allowed to apply EA or ED anywhere except for state schools.

texaspg , thanks!

It is always better to apply early to a school if it is your first choice!
