Does anyone know how small the classes are for the majors of economics of international relations? And, does anyone know if there are a lot of one-on-one time available with professors?

any Stanford students know about this?

(I've e-mailed the econ department but haven't had the reply back yet.)

My kid was a Poli Sci major and Econ minor who did a coterm masters in International Policy Studies. He originally intended to do IR, but decided PS (with an international focus) fit better. He did research for an IR professor for 3 years, had 2 other professors as mentors, and was on a first name basis with all of them. He said one of the great things about Stanford was the openness and availability of the profs. All do have weekly office hours and are reachable. The TAs hold section meetings each sweek and also have office hours. Its entirely up to you.
