I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason, and hey, not getting into Stanford means that I will be able to intern full time in Washington D.C. through CMC, which has been a dream for a long time. I hope everything works out for everybody as well.

got in! congrats to everyone who did too, and best of luck in the next round for those who didn’t.

coming home from an evening orchestra rehearsal…I absentmindedly check out my email…

…and found out that I got in!!!1 :)

Congrats to all of you. No matter what the outcome we’re all going to great colleges!

Yeah, didn’t make it.

thanks darling! my mother also says that–in the past, its definately been true. either way, if we’re good enough to make waitlist, then we’ll be successful wherever. good luck for the future! and of course congrats to sea legs!!

thank you everyone!

got a tentative financial aid quote today and it looks good!
I still have to convince my parents…

i got off the waitlist and declined my admissions offer. hope that helps.

^What made you decline your offer?

Um hi. I have to be honest I basically never go on the stanford forums but last night I came home to an acceptance off the extended waitlist. and now. I have no idea what to do with myself. I’d so detached myself from stanford because I never actually expected to get in, and now. I realize I barely know anything about it. I never actually considered it as a legitimate choice.

It took me eons to decide on Rice vs. UT. I finally picked rice and went full in - I finished filling out all the forms and roommate stuff and everything as soon as I got my packet in the mail. I’m not sure I can leave that now, especially after falling in love with their residential system. Although… stanford has seriously everything I could ever want in a college, with better programs from what I want to study.

I guess… haha does anyone have any advice? although… it would probably be more beneficial to y’all to convince me away from stanford hah

Susie Bra’s going to Penn, that’s why…

bustofPallas, go to Stanford unless money is a big issue.
