hi guyz, I am from Northern VA. I have been accepted to Stanford High School Summer College. They gave me scholarship for $2,500, and my parents would need to pay an extra $6,000. I was wondering if it is really worth the money? Does it really help in college admissions? My parents are super-rich (unlike most Northern Virginians), and 6000 is a REALLY big sum for them. I am not sure if I should go for it or not.

Any advices or suggestions???

<p>it might not help in admissions but it's nice to come out to california to check it out, to see if you like stanford, and perhaps pay a couple visits to san francisco area.</p>
