Hi I really want to go to an Ivy League school but I'm not sure if I'm doing everything that I can be doing.
I'm already a junior and I'm really worried that it might be too late to do anything new.

What are some things that would make me stand out or give me a higher chance of being accepted into an Ivy League school?
What should I do and what are the requirements?

Stanford isn’t an Ivy League, although it might be known as the “Harvard of the West.”

Generally, Ivy League acceptances are nothing short of chances, at at all levels. The best way to better your chances would be to land strong SAT I and II scores, look into jobs/internships, and of course, keep up your grades.

Try looking for global experiences, maybe an exchange or study program that you can do during the summer.

Play the oboe have written 2 bestsellers run your own business sucessfully and be a star athlete. Short of that try community service or getting into projects you are interested in other than that its luck of the draw.

Also go to the websites of colleges you are interested in, they all have sections discussing what they look for in applicants. Books are also helpful, there are likely many in your local library; use the Search function here on CC to find books people have recommended in the past.
