A number of Stanford alums and regional reps are hosting meet and greets for early admits. Not sure if the East Coast get togethers are going ahead as planned, but the weather out west is great. Anyone want to comment on their impressions or reason for attending the reception or not attending? Was it useful? Pressure?

You know its not SCEA any longer. It is now REA

UChicago, SunDiego is talking about those already accepted to SCEA. :o

Oh duhhhh I need to learn how to read… haha.

haha dont worry. i did the same mistake before XD i was like facepalm haha

oooh mine’s next week :)

Receptions for early admits are fun, low-key, no pressure whatsoever, informational. If you live in a city of any size, plenty of alums, and often former faculty members, will be on hand along with parents of current Stanford students to answer all of your questions. It’s an enjoyable way to meet other early admits from your area, most of whom you’ll see again in April at Stanford during Admit Weekend, which is seriously fun.
