So who here will be transferring in the fall?

Considering how many transfers they admit. I think you are the only one that's going to be on this post. LOL. Congrats.

I will be joining you this fall! Comin' all the way from Texas, Yee haw!

what school are you transferring from?

a small liberal arts school in Texas...

I'll be there in the fall

sweet man, you are transferring from tulane yes?

yup, leaving tulane

Wow, wow, wow! Just curious. Did you guys have 4.0's, president of 2 clubs every semester, and work??? Wow, total of 50 transfer admits.

Hey, I think I am going to Stanford too. Did you guys get the housing info? Anyone feel free to PM me about anything :)

Did really only 50 people get in? I though they take like 60-65...?

it's not that many -- which isn't necessarily a bad thing. i haven't gotten anything except for the admissions packet, which, incidentally, made me laugh: i appreciated the large, multi-colored envelope branded "CONGRATULATIONS" but it took all the fun out of it :)

i know someone that will be going to stanford this fall, transferring from upenn -_-

what major are you all coming in as?

ancient history major and art history minor

i envy u stanford transfer ppl, i should have applied here, prob would have been rejected, u never know though....what kind of admit rate does it have (is it lower than duke and columbia?)

I think I am coming in as a math or physics major (I haven't decided). I may try out the new curriculum for a degree in biomedical computation....

No housing info quite yet....

I certainly envy you guys. I wish that I was going as well. Very tough to transfer from a Community College. I will now try my luck by applying to Columbia University's School of General Studies for the Spring '07 Semester. I might apply to Stanford in the near future once again. But I'll see how my admissions process goes at Columbia's GS program.

i believe last year something like 60 or 65 were accepted out of nearly 1300....certainly selective

bball: Stanford's acceptance rate is lower than Harvard's and higher than Yale's. I was rejected by Harvard and accepted to Yale and Stanford. Where are you going to be this fall?

one big tree, you going to stanford or yale?
