Stanford v. Yale

I'm choosing between single choice early action Yale and Stanford. I want to go into the humanities.

Which school do I have a better chance at? Does anyone know where I can find the early action statistics for Stanford? I've heard stanford is weird about it's criterion for accepting ppl (ie i know someone who got into HYP but not stanford) is this true?

here are some of my stats:
GPA 4.7/5.0
Class Rank 1/337
SAT 2250
ACT 34
SAT IIs:Math IIC 800, Chinese 800, Lit 780, Chem 750
APs: Chem 5, US GOVT 4, Comparative govt 5, microeconomics 5

Extra Curriculars
Student Government
Science Honor Society Vice president
Math Honor Society Secretary
Youth Org of Chinese American VP
NHS

I've done some sports throughout the years. dallied in a few things.

during the summer i've done governors school and Carnegie mellon pre-college

thanks.

You cant study abroad..(this is your alter ego...who knows MY password)

Good GPA and SAT, but your ECs are very weak.

Honor Societies are bleh.

Not necessarily. Each school makes decisions that some would deem "weird".

you don't really standout. But you could still get in. After all, not everyone who goes to stanford/yale has done stuff like ICHO, AIME or ISEF. good luck :)

Odds are you'll be deferred/rejected by both. Yale's early pool is going to be disgustingly competitive.

Well! like I LOVE stanford...i still hope I get in...tears :(

sorry for the inane sounding posts that are sometimes under my username. if i say anything embarassing, please assume it is not actually me.
