<p>I’m sure that you guys must be in a pretty confusing position right now, having committed somewhere that you love but still waiting for Stanford. I’m a current Stanford student who got off the waitlist last year, so I remember the feeling! Just wanted to say that miracles do indeed happen BUT get to know the school you’ve committed to and get excited about it

<p>^There hasn’t been any official announcement yet. Since the first wave of last year’s waitlist acceptances came out around May 13th, we may have to wait a week or two before this year’s first wave comes out. Oh the anticipation and excitement mixed with a tad of dread! Stanford oh stanford!</p>
<p>I’d absolutely LOVE if Stanford decided to accept me in the end, but I guess I’m going to have to wait until they announce their waitlist decisions in a few weeks. and, BTW I’ve sent my confirmation for ND.</p>
<p>Why is Stanford notifying waitlisted applicants so late this year? I thought they would let everyone know approximately this week…</p>
<p>^ Well they said they’d let us know sometime after May 9th. It’s only the 10th.</p>

<p>I called the admission office a few days ago and they said they’ll give us some more details about the waitlist by the end of this week, though they’re not promising waitlist results.</p>

<p>Just got rejected… Oh well! I loved Dartmouth a lot anyways… it would have been a tough decision.</p>
