STANFORD Waitlist 2015

Just got rejected too. Oh well, I can rest assured that I’m confident on going to Notre Dame now. :)

rejected as well, worth a shot. going to cornell :]

Congrats to all of you. It’s quite an impressive array of schools that you will be attending. I see only a tremendous amount of amazing winners not rejects. Remember, “where one door closes a window opens.” All of you have such bright futures on the horizon. Good Luck and enjoy the next four years!!!

Does anyone know what the admit yield rate was year for Stanford and what it is this year?

it was 72% last year… i’m dying to know this year’s!

Wow! Thats impressive. I heard last year that the best admit rate was held by Harvard last year at 75.5%. So we aren’t too far off. This year Harvard is at 77%. Can’t wait to see what Stanford’s is.

Agreed with Dungareedoll. You all seem to have great choices, so congrats on that.

One of the articles from Stanford mentioned that the admissions office is expecting a 71% yield. Given how many applicants Stanford accepted this year (over 2400), it will over-enroll if the yield goes higher than that. That would not be good for housing, which is already in a crunch. I would be surprised if they took anyone from the waitlist this year.

^They took 13.

How do you know they took 13? It also seems strange that there is no update on the Stanford website regarding their waitlist decision.

It was a good run…off to Carnegie Mellon!

@rowingparent

I heard 13 got in from an official post on the admit group on facebook

I got off the waitlist… and rejected.

Ah well. Still waiting to hear from UChicago and Claremont McKenna, otherwise I’m sure to end up in Berkeley.

^ Haha in my humble opinion Berkeley pwns both those schools, especially Claremont Mckenna :P.

Samesies .

13 on Friday the 13th.

Admission Office communication to alums today says:

“we hit our yield targets and expect very little movement from the waitlist this year.”
