How does it work?

You apply, if you’re accepted, you pay a load of $$ and you live there (Stanford) for a little while and learn some really intensive courses.

or you can do it on the internet,
and they send you tests and stuff

ive been their before
'06
its ok

theres activities everyday and you get restaurant food every wednesday and theres a field trip on the weekends to capitola beach

Are you talking about Stanford’s online EPGY learning system? Or Stanford’s Summer Institute EPGY?

Online. Sorry for not specifying.

take cty online

Is CTY online worth it? I wanna do their Algebra 1 course in 1 month during the summer. Is this possible?

And don’t say “wow your horrible” and things like that, if you don’t know my age :P

they send you a textbook and cds with video lectures
you do online tests and excercies unless its final/midterm which you fax to them

is it difficult? Can it be done in 1 month?

yes if you spend at least 5 hours a day
otherwise you need 2 months
it is medium difficulty

k so i guess i could do it in that time frame. I will be working like a dog though. lol.
Is the course decent or is it bad.

have you done it?

i did alg2
it was easy-medium but you learn it well and the textbook/cds are really useful for studying
actually i meant 5 hours at most its not that hard really

k thanks man

dont do cty. it stops at like multivariate. epgy will let you take better math.
