Where is the Starbucks on campus? I remember my orientation counselor telling us about it but from what I found online the closest location is in Westwood? He also said they give free coffee during finals week.

You're thinking of Kerckhoff Coffee House.

There's also Coffee Bean in Bruin Cafe, which uses up your swipes

coffee bean is bomb, kerkoff coffee is DISGUSTING

Yeah, Kerckhoff is pretty nasty sometimes. Haters, you are missing two letters from ker*CkH*off.

They're both disgusting. I weaned myself off coffee so I could use it for when it really matters, e.g. the night before and the morning of a final. :/

Then I need to pee during the test and life sucks. I hate it when they say no bathroom breaks for a three-hour final.

Starbucks for the win.

It's all about the tea...

darn...i work at starbucks so I get a 30% discount so I was hoping there was one on campus =(

oh well...westwood it is

I wish bcaf had good Pearl Milk Tea, or "boba" as socal people like to call it...

oh god, i dont even wanna know how they would butcher boba/pearl tea.

Yeah. I suppose they would butcher it pretty bad. The pearls would probably overcooked or undercooked and their tea would probably taste more like milk and chocolate. :[

how could they mess up the tea? it's all made of powder anyway

Um.. Milk tea. Not your typical Lipton tea or w/e.

Ooh man, how I wish there was a place to get boba on campus.. it's really yummy (and super cheap)!

Starbucks is a bit too steep for most of us, I would think.

You make milk tea using Lipton tea (black tea). It's not difficult .... the only factor is the experience of the server ~~~ the ratio of condensed milk to the black tea in the drink.

You can buy boba milk tea (and other milk teas) at Treehouse.

If you think that's cheap ($3.35) then you haven't been to SGV (89 cent Quickly's, buy 10 get 1 free).

there is a place for boba but they charge so much, like a small 12oz cup is same as jumba juice... milk tea isn't hard to make with a coffee maker, just put tea on top instead of coffee, pour milk in the container and have the coffee maker do that rest... or buy imported milk tea powder... I got some from inner mongolia, best place for milk tea :) the hard part it to get boba haha
but yeah starbucks is way too expensive for students, even with 30% discount, plus just use a swipe and get it from bcafe :)

What's treehouse?

3.35?? There's a place up in Silicon Valley called Fantasia that charges only 2.71 and is 102394234 times better than all the tea places i've tried down here.

I also get 1 lb of free coffee a week...are coffee makers allowed in dorms? :P
