Starting a 'Business' in High School?

<p>Does starting and having a successful landscaping business in high school look good for colleges? Does it count as work experience? Thanks.</p>

<p>Well it’s not like one of those big landscaping businesses, but my friend and I started it and we have about 10 different people who we work for. We did everything from advertising our service, managing the schedule, and performing the actual work.</p>

<p>it is impressive but it all depends on where you apply. If you apply to Harvard, there probably will be a few entrepreneurs. I would consider it as a plus, but don’t dwell on it too much (unless you’re writing an elaborate essay on it)</p>
