I want to start up FBLA (future Business Leaders of America) in my school.

If anyone is well versed in FBLA and would like to help inform me of the details of the association, that would be helpful.

As for everyone else, how do i go about starting up a club?

Well i am like you cause i'm starting DECA at my school. FBLA has a website just search for it in google.

Talk to the teacher that does business, then he can usually direct you, also ask the dean/principal.

I'm starting up a club here too. First things first, find a sponsor. (I actually haven't done that yet, as no one I've talked to is interested in helping me start up a Mu Alpha Theta chapter.) There should be some kind of activities director. I got forms and information from him. As soon as you have the sponsor and the forms, it depends on your school as to what happens next.

Good luck! I'm finding it very hard to start up a math club because my school is not very math oriented, and so I hope you see more success than me. I'm determined to find a sponsor by the end of this school year, though, so that we can start up officially next year.

The Revolution : i did search it and have thoroughly read it, but that isn't enough to help me start the club, I need details on specifics, like what to do at meetings, what kind of events, how to train for them etc.

freznow : im heavily involved in MAO so if you need help with anything, feel free to PM me.

Gonna bump this up and also ask:

Is it standard procedure for the club constitution to say "Student may not hold the same office for more than one year"? Or does it depend on the club? Because I read that in one example, and I'd be rather sad if I couldn't be president of my MAO once it gets running for more than one year (that is, if I get elected).

freznow, it is not standard for the club to say that, each club at each school establishes their own Constitution but it is very possible that they do have the officer position rule.
