Hello,

About a year ago I was expelled for academic integrity violations at a top 20 school. My violation was surrounded by a lot of personal problems, and I have since fixed myself up and believe that I am mature enough to attend a 4 year university again.

I have been attending a local community college and will receive my Associate's in Computer Science by the Spring transfer deadline.

I have noticed that some (most) schools require a statement of good standing from all prior institutions. Others ask for a statement of good standing from the most recent institution, and a few don't require such letters at all.

Vanderbilt is one of the schools that require a statement of good standing from all prior institutions. Does this mean that I am not allowed to apply to Vanderbilt as a transfer at all? Or are they just looking to weed out dishonest applicants and will still give me a chance? Is there anywhere that I easily see this information for any other colleges that I am considering?

Thanks
