<p>The college official report is NOT the same with the statement of good standing. The statement is completed by a college official who should confirm that the applicant is not at any type of academic or non academic probation.</p>

It includes quite a bit of information, along with the official's statement that the student is in good standing. So it serves the purpose that the OP is inquiring about, as far as I can tell. If I misunderstood his question, perhaps he could clarify.</p>
<p>It depends on which university you are applying to. If you are applying through commonapp, then the official report serves this purpose. If you are applying to Columbia ,for example, then the official's
report and the statement of good standing are two different forms.</p>
<p>^^ However, most colleges won't care which form(s) the Dean/College Report comes in on... so long as it covers the information they require.</p>
