If you want you can post a short or full statement of desire.

I will come up with one although I don’t know the format.

But, I just want to see the desires of people to go to AFA.

:)

well, i got into afa but i really want to go to west point. my main desire is just to serve my country in any which way possible. in other words, i dont really know what to do with my life. =)

Another one of lifes little ironies. I was accepted to WP, but really want to go to USAFA. Trade ya. I do know I will go to USMA if USAFA doesn't come through though.

OK, No offense, BUT you should not have to read other peoples statements of desires. I see that as sort of confidential information. To me it sounds like you are trying to get ideas for your own statement, which is wrong. The statement of desire is about YOU, not other inputs or things you read. Make it you.

I have to agree.

Err, sorry. I don't want the whole thing word for word..maybe just why you chose the AFA. o_O

But, why? 10 char

Just write why you want to attend the academy and serve. Thats what i've done

I listed my experience with aircraft and skydiving and how I felt about that, as well as my intense desire to make a difference for our country.

I also gave my main reason which was to fly a plane, and said that the AFA is the best way to achieve that.
