Hello, our daughter is thinking of applying to Drexel next year, but we can only make it work if there's a decent amount of merit money headed her way. I would really appreciate it if folks would list:

1) their stats,
2) the amount of their scholarship
3) their intended major.
4) if they got into the Honors College

Drexel's got an excellent reputation here in Philadelphia. Congratulations on your scholarship and thanks!

15K merit
2170 SAT, good GPA, electrical engineering
Best of luck to your daughter!

$13, 500 merit and $1000 additional for filing FAFSA early ( a nice surprise).

D received full tuition offers from several other similar-caliber schools and is passing on Drexel, although she liked it quite well when we visited.

2070 SAT, 15k merit scholarship, mechanical engineering.
Didn’t apply to Honors.

2300+SAT, 3.95 UW GPA, lots of APs. NMF.
$13500 scholarship. S will get full tuition if he decide to attend. He will do engineering and will apply honor college.

^how will he get full tuition?

Drexel offers a full tuition scholarship for national merit finalists. Website doesn’t say whether it’s automatic or competitive.

Oh, right. Congrats!

I was a freshman in 2012, but I received a $24,000 AJ Drexel scholarship for International Business, with an SAT score of 2160 and a 4.0 unweighted GPA (mostly AP and honors classes). I am also in the honors college!

The NMF scholarship is automatic and you don’t have to formally name Drexel your first choice, so if you need to see how it will impact your financial aid, you can send admissions a copy of your finalist letter, and they will (with some delay since it’s a busy, busy time for them) replace your AJ Drexel scholarship with the full tuition scholarship. (Note that if you had the $1K early FAFSA scholarship, that also get’s superseded by the full tuition scholarship – you don’t get to keep any part of any of your other scholarships toward room & board or anything.)
