I was just wondering what the app's look like for VIP applicants. Do Jodie Foster and Lindsey Lohan fill out the app themselves or do they have people who do it for them? Under EC's, do they list their movies? Under awards, do they list their academy awards if any, and would putting a Golden Globe down be like listing "Who's Who in America's HS's"? When Chelsey Clinton applied, was one of her EC's being daughter of the President of the United States?

No, [The daughter of Prez] how is that an EC? That EC will hold as much weight as me saying I am the new King of England.

Im sure somebody else does it as Lindsay Lohan seems not the type bright enough to do so herself.

Seriously no idea... email them! :D

interesting :)

While being the kid of the pres doesnt count at as ec, it does count as an auto admit. i mean, most president's kids are intelligent, have connections and all that, but still the hook of being the pres's son gets them in. How else did bush get in? (besides money)

Btw: i dont want to be charecterized as a bush basher, but still, his stats were much lower than his classmates except john kerry, who had equally bad stats)

in short money and prestige helps a lot.

Uh........that's a major misconception...... when bush went to yale, his father wasnt president.. hw only had a minor role in the government at that time

though I would agree that bush does have many connections. His father was in skulls and bones and so was he

Bush Senior was a big oil man in Odessa Texas. He wasn't some nobody with a minor govt job.

Chelsea Clinton probably would have gotten into Stanford anyway, and Jodie Foster too (except she went to Yale I think?.

Foster could speak 5 languages when she graduated high school.

Chelsea Clinton is the daughter of two really smart people(even though I dislike the Clintons, I will concede they are very smart). Chences are she was pretrty smart too.

Who knows, but I remember reading that Jodie Foster has a genius IQ.

Wasn't Bush senior the head of the CIA went W bush went to Yale?

I'm not sure where Bush Sr. was at admissions time, but he was very important.

After graduating from Phillips Academy, Andover, MA in 1942 he served as the youngest U.S. naval carrier pilot in the Pacific till 1945, winning the 'Distinguished Flying Cross', and three Air Medals. Bush studied economics at Yale University. After graduating he moved to Texas where he started working in the oil-drilling business. He co-founded the Bush-Overbey Company, Zapata Petroleum Corporation and Zapata Off-Shore, of which he also became president in 1954.

In 1966 he sold his interests to concentrate on politics. He became active in the Republican Party. After running unsuccesfully as a Republican candidate for the Texas Senate in 1964, he entered the Texas House of Representatives in 1967.

Bush served as ambassador to the United Nations from 1971-1972, was chairman of the Republican National Committee from 1972-1973, chief of the U.S. liaison office in Peking from 1974-1976, and director of the C.I.A. from 1976-1977. In 1980 Bush campaigned for the Republican nomination for the U.S. presidency but withdrew later to support Reagan, who chose Bush as his running mate. Bush became vice-president during Reagan's two terms in the White House, from 1981-1989. In 1988 Bush ran for the presidency again and this time succesfully.

This made him the first president since Martin van Buren in 1836 to be elected directly to the presidency.

whatever
Finally, if he went to yale and harvard..
They arent all they were cut out to be say 100 years ago

(This is to be taken as a joke and please do not take this as any political thingamagigable)

Just to be accurate, I was incorrect in my little bio of Bush. It wasn't the Texas Senate and House. It was the US Senate and House. At any rate, I guess W had a shot.
