Stats- This is Depressing

So, let me get this straight. It appears that most of these medical programs accept those with the top highest scores on all the tests imaginable. Is there no chance for the student that is pretty good, doesnt get 800's but does get 700's on SAT IIs and an okay SAT/ACT score of lets say 1300-1400/30-33? Or would I be wasting my time even thinking about these accelerated programs? I am going to be a doctor no matter what, and I know that for a fact. But is my personality and desire to be a doctor good enough in combination with my mid-level scores?

I would like to know that also as my sat and act scores are near yours. Also my GPA is only about a 3.75 b/c i played around my first year or two.

Wonderful... Then please if someone could give out some honest answers I think we would both appreciate it!

It's difficult to say, because it's not like an absolute fact that you will not get into an accelerated or guaranteed program because of stats like that. However, some programs more than others use statistics to weed out the various applicants and only invite those with the higher scores to come back and interview, but it really does depend on everything else. It does seem to make it much harder to prove to any adcom of these programs that they need to invite you to interview.
