What were some of the stats people had to get merit aid?

I think it said on the website that you need SAT scores in the 1500s and really good grades.

I have a 31 ACT and 4.3 W GPA and I’m a finalist for a scholarship but its an arts scholarship so thats kind of different.

I have a 4.0 GPA but I used the SAT optional policy and did not send my scores… do I still have a chance or do you need to send your SATs to be considered?

I don’t know for sure. But I’m pretty sure they would need to see the scores because when you don’t send scores, they can assume that they aren’t great.

ehh, alright. thanks for the help.

Finalists for merit awards (Carswell, Reynolds etc.) have been invited to come to Wake next weekend (Feb. 19-21) for interviews, etc.

Are the finalists from both ED and RD applicants or just the ED?

Yeah, how would a RD applicant know they got a scholarship?

I am an RD applicant and I already found out about a scholarship. But, like I said, it was an arts scholarship so I don’t know how the other scholarships work.

Merit finalists definitely included RD, don’t know about ED. Wake may use the small number of scholarships to recruit high-talent RD applicants who might otherwise choose an Ivy.
