Your stats are great! But ucla all comes down to the whole package of your application and the way you present yourself as a whole . Good luck !

Your stats definitely make you look like a strong candidate for UCLA. Keep doing what you’re doing. If it’s possible, you should try to hold a leadership role in at least one of the clubs you’re in (the yoga club could work if you start it!). The essay will be really important, so once you’re at the application point, don’t procrastinate! Good luck!!

Chance me back!

The UC’s only use 10-11th grades in their UC GPA calculation: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

They will look at Freshman grades to make sure you meet the a-g course requirements and Senior grades will be used only to make sure you keep your provisional admission and have completed the a-g requirements. Senior grades will be looked at after you enroll and graduate.

You want to take the most rigorous class schedule but still maintain good grades. Your # of AP’s for Junior year look a little light. What is the average # of AP’s the top students at your HS take? On average 6-8 AP’s will make you competitive over the 4 years. If your HS offers less, then you will not be penalized, if they offer many more and you are not taking advantage, you will not be considered as high performing. Also the UC’s do not recognize many honors classes so if given a choice take AP instead of Honors (usually Honors Chem/Pre-calc are UC approved). You are on the right track but make sure you have several safety schools, match schools and reach schools on your list. Apply broadly and Good Luck.

It looks like you have great stats just keep up the hard work! I recently got into the UCLA school of nursing and I also applied to UCI’s school of nursing but I didn’t get into their program. Overall I think UCLA is looking for a well-rounded person so I’m pretty sure you’ll get in. Good luck!

EC’s are eh.

People get into UCLA and UC Irvine with 3.2’s because they offer more than mere numbers.

Focus on Nursing EC’s and you might have a chance.

No one, and I repeat no one, can tell you if you’re going to get in or not on here. Just apply.

But also, don’t do things that you think they want to see, do things that interest you.

Colleges don’t want sheep.
