On the DODMERB site, the Admission Status Date was changed to the current date and the SubAgency said "NALOA." What does this mean? Everything has been done except the CFA - that will be done on Friday. He is medically qualified. When the CFA is done, will he be scholastically qualified?

I believe it means he has a "navy letter of assurance". If that's what your asking clarification on "NALOA" Anyone else can chime in if I'm reading this wrong. Good luck!

I'm her dad...this isn't her response. For clarification.

It means the Admissions Dept at the USNA has instructed DODMERB to change the admissions status to Naval Academy Letter Of Assurance.

The Admissions Status comes directly from the admissions office of that particular program, DoDMERB only posts the information

When my son's status changed to NALOA last year, it took about 2 weeks for the LOA to show up in the mail. congrats!!

NavySupporter-
Your son will receive an LOA letter. It will state in the letter what he has left to do to receive his appointment. Receiving a nomination will be one of the requirements. Congratulations.

Thanks, the status date change is Nov 3rd and he has not received anything in the mail yet. He is thrilled with the news. The nom interviews will be in mid December. He will be waiting for months for any news about a possible appointment.
