When letter with LOA came for Twin, his first thought was "Oh, no!" (because he didn't follow these threads on CC at all!). I told him (because I did/do follow the threads), "It's ok! Just open the letter." Lo! Behold! An LOA!

He was so adverse to checking his status, he almost missed the DodMerb deficiency.

Twin2 had a completely different set of circumstances.

I have a question. Am I allowed to go back to my application and edit it after I've clicked on the infamous 'Submit' button? Let's say I've had a mind blowing epiphany, and I absolutely must include it in my essay-- could I do that?
He-he, I have my apps for nominations, USNA, and NROTC, but my counselor put so much emphasis on the essays that I'm starting to think that if I have a comma splice somewhere in my essay, I will be automatically rejected from the school.

nope dont think so.. after it's submitted, you need to call your counselor to add stuff. dont be shy, do whatever you can! essays are NOT that big of a deal. at all. it's important that you do good, but you dont have to be a good writer. i wasnt, but i answered the questions well and did fine. do NOT worry about the essays unless you just really sucked it up and had huge mistakes. everyone's has some mistakes.. no big deal
