<p>im a transfer student so ill be staying over night on the 8/15, because soar is like 8am the next day. thats too early for me since im coming up from LA which takes like 4 hours drive</p>

<p>Yes. We’ll stay the night before (hotel). That way we don’t have to start out driving so early in the morning. Our family considered staying over night at CP, but it works out to be less with more amenities off-campus. But for a single student, Poly Canyon would be a good deal and fun way to check out the facilities.</p>
<p>Hi all! SOAR is just getting closer and closer. So excited! I emailed someone at admissions, and they said we will be able to get our PolyCard at SOAR! </p>
<p>Can anyone recommend a place to stay the night prior to SOAR please? I thought of doing the campus housing thing, but figured it would probably be cheaper to stay at a hotel/motel/inn instead. The cheaper the cost the better. The reason for the stay is because I do not want to wake up at 3AM and drive down there from the Bay Area! Thanks!</p>
<p>If you’re a student coming alone, Poly Canyon will be less expensive. I’m not sure how much you want to spend for lodging in town, but unless it’s the Motel 6 or this other little motel right downtown, you won’t find anything under $100+. Of course, there will be a few more amenities.</p>
