<p>@mcarcab yes, at first he got a form letter saying that he didn't pass a pre-screen. He sent an e-mail asking them to reconsider. Then he received a personal e-mail audition invite (that apparently arrived same time other applicants received theirs). So, I don't know whether the first e-mail was just a screw up or they actually granted his request to reconsider. The mysteries of the admissions process :-).</p>
