I have a question about the myRoc application status. I recently was moved on to step 4, which is committee review. I understand this to mean that the two readers have made their decisions, and if they are in disagreement, it goes to committee. Say I was to have received both no decisions from the readers, but I am still moved to step 4 although the committee really would not be considering my application? Same goes for a yes from both as well? And apparently it will stay on step 4 until well after decisions have been mailed to cut down on the "It says a decision has been made, will you tell me right now" type of annoying phone calls?

AFAIK, everyone moves to step 4. Even if both readers say yes.

Do you know how long each step takes? When did you apply and when did you move to step 4?

How long each step takes depends on the who is reading your app, how many other apps the reader has to handle, the time of year (the admission committee sits more or less often depending on the season), whether the reader is traveling to college fairs, etc.

There’s no relationship whatsoever with how long your application spends in each step and the eventual decision.

For me I was on Step 2 for a few weeks and Step 3 for maybe two days. I guess all there is left to do is wait a little longer…

Thanks for the response -good luck with the final decision. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Did you hear from admission office yet?
