I disagree about this guy's statements on Stern. Maybe he knew some people who were weak at math but anyone in the program could easily excel in mathematics. They just found something more interested to them at the undegraduate level. I know my gpa would've been much higher if I didn't major in finance. Don't get me wrong, math is probably the hardest major, but most of us in Stern nailed Calc 1 and 2, so this guy just comes off bitter for some reason. and his groupings of colleges make no sense, but whatever.

Are you serious about this? Half of the kids get kicked out of Stern every year and you need a 3.5 and most grades are 3 and below? What happens to the kids who get kicked out? Do you start taking business classes right away and would the other classes be easier and perhaps allow you to get a 3.5? Thanks.

No your first two years are primarily general education and MAP courses. I think he means a lot get kicked out of Stern Scholars, which is probably true.
