Hi, I was wondering if any of you current Sternies could help advise me on what classes I am required to and should be taking next year. I am interested in Real Estate finance and am not sure exactly what I will be majoring in but I know I will be on the Real Estate Track. Also any way I can get out of WTE with a SAT writing score of 730?

This is quite good:

[NYU Stern | NYU Stern Undergraduate Program: Sample 4-year Curriculum](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/undergraduate/academics/business-program/sample-4-year-curriculum/index.htm)

Apparently, first year is mainly taking non-Stern classes such as :

Writing the Essay
Cohort Leadership Project
Microeconomics
Calculus I (or higher level math)
Business & Its Publics: Inquiry and Discourse
Business & Its Publics
Statistics for Business Control & Regression/Forecasting Models
Texts & Ideas
Cultures & Contexts
Natural Science
Elective Courses

Yeah, I’m curious about getting out of WTE as well. Is it 700+ for writing, or is it a compulsory course?

WTE is compulsory. You can take Commerce and Culture instead if you have a high enough SAT Writing score, F2012 was 740.
