Stern Likely Letters

Did anyone who received a "Likely Letter" apply to Stern?

I received a likely-like letter from Stern today...it was an invitation to a scholars reception, and mentioned that my admission letter from Stern would arrive soon.

ahh i was not ready for nyu lls, todays trip to the mailbox should be fun...

Didn't get one. woeeeeeeeeee

want2bIvy, can you please post your stats and location?

Ok, so want2bivy is from NYC, I think, so maybe the rest of us will get one in the near future!

I was invited to the Rudin Scholars Program, a scholarship for NYC students, so that may explain why I was sent a notice.

My GPA is 99.8, 2nd in class, 2320 SAT, 5 on APUSH (only AP offered to non-seniors, which I took last year)...all girls private hs...that's the quantitative summary of my high school career =)

Based upon this thread, the only person who applied to Stern and received a Likely Letter was want2bIvy, who may have gotten the letter because of her Scholarship. Are any admitted Stern students reading this and if so, did you guys receive a Likely Letter when you applied? So far, it looks like only CAS and Gallatin admittees are receiving letters.

What does the likely letter say?

It explains the scholarship information, offers an invitation to an information weekend, and says that I will recieve an official admissions letter in April.

I though Stern got rid off its Scholars program?? The admission office said it clearly on the official Stern board.
