If you are interested in business, which one of these schools would you choose to go to and why? You would have to pay full tuition at all of them. Just curious!

I would go to Ross or Stern because those have more well-known and respected business programs. Tepper is a great program, of course, it’s just that (if money is not a factor) you want to go to the highest ranked business program that you can get into, and you would have a tough time arguing that Tepper is better than the other two.

This is the overall ranking:

This is the finance ranking:
[Undergraduate business specialties: Finance - Best Colleges - Education - US News and World Report](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/spec-finance)
I included the finance ranking even though you didn’t mention what you wanted to study because finance is the most important major for a good business program. It not only lines up closest with the overall rankings, but it’s also a very popular major and one where it really matters that you go to a top school for job placement. As you can see, in addition to Michigan, Texas, MIT and Berkeley also separate NYU and CMU, and for overall ranking, Virginia and UNC edged in above it as well (though I wouldn’t be surprised if they were behind it by the time you graduate).

As you can see, NYU is ranked one spot under Michigan overall, but two spots ahead for finance. Your choice is mainly between those two, but any of these programs would be very good and are probably not worth a cost difference of more than a few thousand (depending on how much of a factor money is and how much you like each school, too.)
