Still haven't heard from Georgetown...

Hey guys, I was just wonder what your take was… I applied to Georgetown EA and was deferred and have now heard from all my other colleges except them. They’re definitly my first choice but I’m getting a bit nervous–everyone else in my school has heard but me! I think one girl was accepted. I know they send the acceptances priority mail but everyone else who has been rejected has heard too… Needless to say I’m spazzing out, at this point I just want to KNOW where I’m going to be next year. If I’m rejected I’ll end up at NYU, not a bad alternative!

I’m not sure if this is relevant, but it seems like every one else who posts on here ends the post with their statistics so I suppose I will too (because I’m a lemming)

GPA: 3.78 (Weighted) 4.1 Weighted
SAT: 800 (V) 680 (M)
SAT II: 700 Writing
710 US History
740 Literature

Thanks for your input guys!

Have your guidance counselor call the admissions office--package may have been lost in the mail; or call yourelf if counselor won't do it. It is logn enogh since the packages came out that you are justified in contacting G'town.

Georgetown does not send acceptances priority mail; they were sent out I think the week of March 24th.

well that makes me a bit less depressed. huzzah for not-priority mail.
Anyway, I'll try calling later in the week, DC time is 3 hours ahead of me so the admissions office is closed after I get home from school.
