Still Impressive? Would universities care?

So basically I'm in advanced classes( and have been since jr. high), and I've hit a bump in the road. Before this year(sophomore), I would get all A's and B's, but now a B or A seems amazing for me. I have always been good at math(a year ahead of the advanced kids here in Cali). I'm taking Pre-Calc this year and I got a C first semester and currently have a D. Very discouraging as I have always done great in Math. If I were to take it over(Pre-Calc) to get a better grade, would colleges see it?
If I were to take these classes next year and get like a 3.83 GPA, would it be good in the eyes of the colleges?:
*Computer Literacy(required :P) A
*AP US History A
*French III A
*Pre-AP Pre-Calc(again) A
*College Prep(CP/Regular) English 5-6 A
*Pre-AP Biology A/B]

That would definitely give me a break, but would it look good? Or is so easy that colleges won't care?

It doesn’t look good, per se, that you’re retaking a class, but they’d see the improvement and like that.

But how do you know you’ll get As in everything else if you’re getting Cs now?

Well, the classes I’m taking are much harder than that schedule. The only class I might have to work hard in is Biology. The other 5 classes are a joke. That’s why I’m asking. Would those classes look fine? If so, I’ll take this easy route!

Not saying that Pre-Calc is easy, just that I got it down. The only reason why I have a D in it is because I do little mistakes on the tests that cause me to loose the whole problem. My teacher doesn’t give partial credit :/

you spelled lose wrong…

i think making it up won’t look amazing but i agree that it will show improvement and is definitely better than just accepting the D. however, if you know the material and lose points for careless mistakes on tests, why do you think that somehow next year those kinds of things will stop happening and you’ll get an A?
