<p>I've read many threads about how others have already gotten acceptance to Minnesota. I was wondering if the admissions office is being unusually slow with my application or if this is just normal. The status of my application is still the same message about how all my application materials have been received and admissions will be sent out on a rolling basis in November.</p>
<p>I'm out of state (Texas) and turned in my application on September 6th. Transcript was probably sent out no more than a month after that. My application was also a Golden Gopher Fast Application, so it's confusing me as to why they're taking so long.</p>
<p>ccundecided…What are your stats if I might ask? I don’t think U of Minn necessarily is reviewing applications and rendering decisions on a first come-first served basis, but we’re new to the whole college app process so I can’t be sure. D1 sent her app to U of Minn on 4 Oct and just got her response this past week so I wouldn’t be too worried about it.</p>
<p>Here is the timeline for my son’s decision. Initial app sent in July! Sept 27 sent in the September ACT results. Oct 13th received an email that application was complete. Nov 5 web account locked on to a phrase about how his app was being considered. On Nov 12 he received his acceptance in the mail.</p>
