still no financial aid?

<p>Hey everybody,</p>

<p>I was accepted to Stern and received all emails and my packet. However, the packet did not include the financial aid info like some of yours did. I turned in FAFSA on time. I called the FA office and they said that my packet would be going out (last)thursday or friday. As of now, I still have not received it. I am expecting it by thursday if it was really shipped out last thursday or friday.</p>

<p>Are there others who have received no FA info with their admission packet and turned in the FAFSA on time?</p>

<p>Any ideas why ours were delayed(despite having FAFSA in on time)?</p>

<p>What is your EFC if you did not receive anything? Mine is 0.</p>

<p>I turned my FAFSAs on time and still have not received a packet. I have no idea why there is a delay, but then again there is a delay on everything - just be happy its not on our application status!</p>

<p>I just called today about the same problem (steinhardt though). Apparently they thought my FAFSA wasn’t on file, but I filed it with them the first week of January…so they said that my award package would be made up and mailed by the end of the week.</p>

<p>Definitely call if you haven’t gotten anything yet, because things do go awry. I’m just hoping this hasn’t ruined my chance of getting good FA!</p>

<p>Well I gave her my NYU ID and my name. I just said that I had gotten the acceptance packet April 1st but still nothin from financial aid…then she looked me up and saw that they hadn’t filed my FAFSA</p>

<p>Still nothing today:( when I called I gave them my I’d and name and they said I should receive it (this week) nothing here, wondering whether or not I should call again</p>

<p>Hey guys I called in and apparently this was a problem this year and many people sent in FAFSAs but didn’t get financial aid package. All you need to do is send it again and call in and hope for the best</p>

<p>Hey I just called for the second time. They actually took my name and looked me up this time and said that my FAFSA and everything is on file, but they just haven’t put together a package for me yet…</p>

<p>who are you guys calling? because when I call undergraduate admissions, i always get the same answer (it should come soon), and nobody will even take my name?</p>

<p>Just wait 1 more day. They told me it would be here by Thursday the latest, so if it hasn’t come by tomorrow, then call them.</p>

<p>@polkadots: I called the fin aid office. After calling undergrad admissions, they said call fin aid.</p>

<p>yea called again today and they said it was printed out on the 1st(thursday) and sent either friday or monday.</p>
