<p>Okay, so I'm really getting irritated here. It's coming up on the fourth week of April and I still have not received my official financial aid details. I realize that it's been passover and easter and what-have-you, but really? All my other friends have received their financial aid things from their colleges, and they applied regular decision, whereas I applied early decision. I also submitted my FAFSA the second week of January. True, I do have a vague idea of what I'll be receiving, but that isn't good enough, since my final grade in one of my classes was dependent on me reporting all the financial aid packages I've received LAST week. I've called the offices in NYU, but have gotten nothing more than a series of non-answers and transfers. Really getting steamed here. I cannot imagine being RD and having to receive such information so close to the May 1st deadline.</p>
<p>Rant aside, does anyone have a definite date for when we'll be seeing our actual packages? And, for that matter, is it normal for NYU to take so long to send out these things?</p>
<p>Did you check online? Not Albert because they changed the way you access your award. Go online and see if you can find out info about your award. I got an email about how to assess your account info and FA award about 2 weeks ago. I had trouble myself and I’ve been doing this for 3 yrs.</p>

<p>^ where exactly online? Is there a URL I’m supposed to follow? Or a link from NYU Home? I never received any e-mail in neither the account I provided for commonapp nor my nyu mail. & I’ve already seen the summary/estimate on Albert, in case that’s what you’re talking about.</p>
<p>Also, I seem to remember you’re a parent. Did your son/daughter receive the same info as you did? Because my mother barely checks her e-mail, and when she does she sends everything to spam. Could that be it?</p>
<p>Have you activated your Net ID with a password?</p>
<p>After you have done that access the Award under"Academics" tab within NYU home, click on applicant log in followed by "accept/decline Financial aid. Then click on "to view your FA award. See if this helps. Your user ID is your net ID.</p>
